"Her music, and the making of it, is all about finding purpose and beauty in darkness by creating something new and meaningful out of it; creating something great out of something not so great and hopefully find even greater purpose by making someone else find recognition and light in it, making someone else feel less alone.  

Her lyrics has played a crucial part in the finding of her artistic and musical sound/style, and became the foundation of the song-making process, as writing is her main way of expression. 
When you´re young and don´t have the words for what you´re experiencing, you just write what it feels like; it´s easier to ”draw” with words, rather than trying to explain it verbally. Because music and writing became a form of therapy and a diary throughout the years, it became natural for her to be raw and honest in her lyrics, but also use dystopia, surrealism and somewhat grotesque depictions when putting those feelings into words. 
The goal became to try to mirror/reflect and support each lyric in the production/arrangement, while finding a common ground musically. The content and mood in the lyrics has therefor influenced what she resonates with sonically, and the music is defined thereafter."
