This is one of my first full-fledged original pieces. It's about looking back at a failed, implosive relationship and wondering where the person is now and what they are doing. Created using Acoustica Mixcraft, MIDI, and vocals.

Like Alice chasing lost time
We were Little Bo Peep’s two favorite lost black sheep
(We wrote a twisted storyline)

Still I got used to hearing your voice
So when I reach the story’s end
I start again

Our love was bottled lightning
Should’ve known there would be thunder
But on the coldest nights of winter
You reminded me of summer
And when it all went down

But now instead of knowing

I wonder if you dream about me
And imagine all that’s imaginary
Like the castle where you fought my dragons
Are you a prince or just Aladdin?

I am a singer/songwriter originally from Virginia. During the day, I am a healthcare provider, but when I get home and start singing, the real magic happens. I absolutely love creating covers of other musician's work, especially when I can make the piece my own in some way. Usually, I break the song down into vocal parts, which I record and then mix together to create an entirely vocal version of the piece (think acapella multitrack like Glee or Pitch Perfect). Recently, I've begun venturing into unknown territory for me: original music. This makes me feel incredibly vulnerable, but also excited to share more of my passion with you.
