I like to imagine the song can be perceived in two ways. Possibly, love is calling me home, as in calling me forward to a destination. Also possibly, love is calling ME home, as in the act of loving is recognizing that I am my home, and that recognizing and treating myself as such is a clear way to practice love.

This song came through in response to a dear person saying “I can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel yet” — in response to the terror and fear of the world. And it made me really curious about how I (we) can leverage the power or prayer and vision even amidst terror, and how doing that together is such a vulnerable act, and such an act of resistance. So this song is my prayer to leveraging hope/vision/prayer/togetherness/belonging as an act of resistance.
