I come from a classical music background - I have played the clarinet since I was 10 and I graduated from Southampton University in 1990 with a BA Hons in Music. I have played in a number of orchestras and ensembles over the years. On the classical front: Midsussex Sinfonia, Sussex Symphony Orchestra and COMA. On the contemporary/pop music side: Oddfellows Casino (folky electronica), and most most recently The Brighton Film Quartet (cinematic style music, heavily influenced by Einaudi). I am currently resurrecting a project I was in 20 years ago with the original members - The Spacehorns which is cosmic space jazz!

I have formally started writing music again after 30 years. I started composing pieces in November 2018 using an EWI 5000 hooked up to Reason software.  I performed live at the Angelfield Festival at Liverpool University on March 30th 2019 - the first time I've performed as a solo/electronic music performer of my own compositions in 30 years!  My first album came out on 16th July and I’m in the process of working on my second album and planning solo gigs.
