Organically Grown Beats w/ Strayson - 17.02.24

Prepping for, and releasing this set was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. A selection of tracks I'd picked up since I began playing music, some produced by very talented homies, and some I'd been wanting to play for years but never found the right moment. Others had been unearthed over the course of the previous 12 months, absorbed from parties in Rio to Berlin and Lisbon.

Shoutout to Gordon (El Gordo) for mastering this mix for me, bringing the mind blowing stage acoustics and getting me on the decks those years ago, my own Mr. Miyagi - and of course huge thanks to Richard and the Wolfkop gang for putting all the pieces together to create this moment for everyone. Indescribable.

Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it a rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.

I've found my groove in Minimal Techno with psychedelic and trippy influences. 
Perfectionism is key – from flawless mixing, to making use of current technology (I plays a DJ set off Traktor Scratch), to giving the crowd what’s right for the time and place. Having experienced electronic dance music on dancefloors around the world since the early nineties, I am dedicated to the journey: as in life, my sets are fairytales of Highs and Lows; Dark and Light; Reflection and Connection.

I am happiest with shoes off and headphones on, creating a positive rocking vibe.
