Emma aka Emma England was predestined from birth (as many English people are) to make music. From naked sofa-drumming performances as a toddler to studying music as a teenager and then going on to teach and perform music, there’s no doubting Emma England’s commitment to what could be described as an obsession.

After deciding to move to Germany in 2004, Emma England has become an established name in the Rhein-Main music scene, not only fronting the bands ‘Beatshots’ and ‘Girl Boy Society’ but also through DJing as part of an established DJ team called ‘DontCanDJ’ and working on electronic music production. DontCanDJ have had their own club night in Darmstadt, Germany since 2008 and are booked to perform in venues all over the country such as Kameha Suite, Frankfurt and Kino International, Berlin.

In between performing and producing, Emma England also works as a music journalist having formerly written for Electronic Beats Magazine and now managing T-Mobile’s digital music shops in the UK.
