I watched a documentary on cyber bullying and how young people have taken their own lives because of it.  I was so sad and angry at the same time.  This song came from the emotions I felt and my hope is that the lyrics will speak to people who find themselves in that situation.  I hope they hear the message to 'be who you were born to be'.

Born To Be

So much fake news...argh! Personally, I don't watch the news, partly for that reason. But I can't escape seeing news on social media and being sent news that is deemed to be important.  In an ideal world, you would be able to read an article and trust it was the truth you were reading, but sadly as we know, that's not the case.  
This song is just a kick against believing everything you hear and read, making you fearful because of it.

Fake News

Prompted by hearing someone scream, I wrote this song in about two hours, out of the blue really. I feel passionate about people not staying in an abusive relationship and for people to understand the true meaning of love.

Staying For Love

Not in a style I've written in before, this song was written to encourage people to be an 'influencer' wherever they are! Our communities would benefit so much from people committing to make it a better place, without being paid for it or becoming famous because of it.

A challenge as much to myself as to anyone else!  Do we cram so much in to our lives that we don't have time to notice others who need our help. Is there room at your table...?

A more folky song looking at the world we live in! A world where we don't need to leave the house to buy things or see people...a light-hearted ponder on whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.  You decide!

What A World

I'm a singer/songwriter, mum and wife from Liverpool! I want to write songs that make people feel good about themselves; challenge our way of thinking; observe life and give hope by pointing people to Jesus.  I love a good ballad, along with any genre of music where you feel the emotion in the song and lyrics.
