today's prompt from the artist's way: describe your ideal environment. 

I took to the piano instead of the journal. inside a current of loneliness, a personal practice aides in healing. the recording is real piano heavy so here are the lyrics: 

welcome to your dream world
let’s start with the room
you wake up into
it’s bright, white light
there’s barely anything in it
but a book and a cup of coffee,
some succulents on the windowsill
peering out to an ocean view
to an ocean view
that greets you 

you walk to the river

welcome to your perfect scenery
the perfect place for you and me to be
there’s an ocean view
and a mountain top to dream
to place your dreams onto
the ocean view
it lives in you now
you’re waking up
you’re waking up

you leave your room
it’s a little cabin maybe,
you walk to the area
where all the rest of your family meets you
there’s artists, there’s gardeners

there’s purple hue
diving into your own dreams
to your mind
you cultivate your healing

and remembering a lover too, maybe a few,
cultivate the healing touch
art is on the walls
we don’t hurt in the yurt
there’s a full moon ritual
fire’s in the burning stove
day or night

we carry the feelings
of our ocean view

we trying on the altered states of time
someone’s there to tell us
what’s going on in the world outside
someone to help us move our bodies right
someone there to keep us on a scheduled paradox
someone there to drive us down the mountain
toward the ocean view
we cultivate the feelings
the feelings that we never knew
between me and you
the stars, the sky, the trees, 
all that’s in our eye
