A blast from the past! 
This track is from a live set from 2007 when I played with an all-girl band called Fidget. This performance was part of Emergenza, a music competition, and it was held at the Reverb in Toronto, Ont.
I played rhythm guitar and sang back-up vocals.

Long Song

This noisy, dissonant, experimental song was constructed from an old tape recording of a jam session with myself and a fellow musician, Edgar LeBel. This recording goes back to 2003! But I recently converted it to digital, did some mixing and copying-and-pasting, and turned it into my first song for my new solo project, Narciscissors. Eventually I would like to get drums and vocals added to it.

This a rehearsal recording going way back to 2004 or so. It consisted of myself on guitar and back-up vocals, drummer Ziggy Sweet and Joe on lead guitar and lead vocals (both from Buffalo, NY). It was originally a really long jam-song, and pretty much written on the spot. I wrote the riffs and the guys added their magic. It has grown to be one of my favourite songs, and I've been wanting to work on it for a long time. So I just spent the past two days cutting and pasting the song and adding two more guitar tracks, one rhythm and one extra lead.  But I haven't mixed the actual sound yet, so it's still rough. I'm waiting on new headphones and speakers to be delivered in the next couple of days, so I will do final mixing then. But for now, enjoy this raw version!

FADE OUT (Unmixed)

This is a recording of a full set from back in 2007 when I played guitar and sang back-ups for a band called The Johnnys.  This was originally recorded on tape, converted it to digital and mixed to clean up the sound as best as I could.

The Impatiens were a short-lived but fun band I played in years ago. We didn't play a single show or do any recordings. All I have are rehearsal recordings on tape. Here are four songs from one of our tapes (I tried to clean up the sound as best as I could).

Dronica is a 2-piece experimental, psychedelic, avant garde, ambient-noise, drone project formed by guitarist Emma-O (Pantychrist, Slander) and accordion player Jaroslaw Czerwinec (Cowboy Junkies, Gord Downie, Ryan Adams). 

Dronica's music is like a rusty chainsaw over a blackboard on a rocketship to a distant galaxy, where Jimi Hendrix, Syd Barrett and Johnny Ramone await to join in on the jam.

Dronica's music is an all-improvised, aural cosmic assault that leaves audiences feeling out-of-this world.  Screeching feedback blasts the listener out of their lulled consciousness, while wailing acccordion carries them over waves of sonic mayhem. Once the chaotic crescendo has peaked, the wave recedes and once again, the participant is gently brought back to Earth, all three eyes wide open, and brain barriers shredded.

"The female Johnny Ramone"

Guitarist for all-girl hardcore punk band Pantychrist (www.pantychrist.net). I also do my own music, which can be completely different from what I play with the band. I have a punk rock background but my style is unique, with influences ranging from psychedelic to metal to emo and all points in between.

I have a lot of incomplete songs from over the years that I would eventually like to finish. What I need most to finish these songs is a singer and drummer. I'll be posting a lot of these tracks (most of which are rehearsal recordings) in the hopes of finding collaborators to get all this stuff done.
