This the last tune from Relentless Approach of Better Times. On screen is a quote from Thich Naht Hahn about not letting fears about the state of the world fill your heart, or you won't be in a position to help. This is followed by information about how trauma and anxiety affects us biologically, physically and socially. Anger, fear and suspicion are symptoms of a body that hasn't yet felt safe enough to complete the somatic cycle (experience and then integration of the experience) that allows us to move on from trauma. The current divisions across the world are expressions of unresolved trauma. I argue that by becoming trauma-aware, and seeing hate as pain and fear of vulnerability, we can reach Better Times.

In this part of the  film I'm putting make up on, ready to go out, but as messages from work pile up it becomes hard to be excited about going to a party. On stage I'm playing live percussion which becomes more erratic and unhinged as the tune goes on.

What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Weirder and Harder To Relate To

This tune was born out of a free improvisation.  We wanted to hang on every chord to explore each sound.  From there we scored Comma. The result is a beautiful, if desolate, landscape.
