Emmet's new song released on the 12th of October, entitled 'Down For You' is a 'make-up' song about going back to the one you love— whom you broke up with—even though it means going against yourself. In writing these words, the aim was to recreate something that anyone who has had to go back to a love that also brought them pain could relate to. Melodically, the choice was made to match the beat’s dynamic nature. 'Down For You' is Emmet's second song release after the success of his first single 'Take Me to Paradise'. Here is a song I produced myself and co-wrote called ‘Red Light’, the song is about unfaithfulness. It is out now on all online streaming platforms.

Khaino is an Italian singer/song-writer who has worked with Italian record labels and several Italian artists. Micki is a rapper and songwriter, she has toured America and headlined her own shows there.

Khaino’s emotional vocals blend well with the upbeat anthemic instrumental. The choice was made by me to add Micki to the track to make the song conversational and to convey a more emotive topic sound.

The instrumental pieces are powerful, a different sound than what I’ve used before, but I feel genres don’t exist anymore especially according to the charts so I’m not going to aim for a particular sound as it would be a bit boring for me. The whole song is basically piano/synth with a vociferous drop. It’s rare to hear a rapper in a song like this but I feel it really works and adds to the upbeat dynamic nature that the song holds.

I really appreciate all the streams/views radio plays, purchases etc. on the last songs, I could never of imagined the success they would’ve had. ‘Red Light’ is the first original song I released in quite a while but I love it and I hope you do too 🙂

Emmet's original single "Home" has been signed to Irish superstar DJ John Gibbons' label 'BLINDsided'. It features a unique mix of rock and dance, the guitar being recorded live by Emmet. Emmet's original song entitled 'The War' featuring a band from Ireland named Stolen City, released November 5th was featured in a documentary by Northern Ireland DJ Dylan McKee, called 'Suicide & Me' which was premiered at Belfast’s sold out ‘Strand Cinema’.
