I started this project back in late December and I had it finished in 2 weeks, but I never ended up mixing and mastering it, so it just kinda sat on my computer for 2 months. I decided to finish it recently so I could finally upload it and move on to more projects Without feeling guilty.

This was my attempt at using a bunch of new instruments that I recently got for Kontakt, and I'd say it worked out pretty well!

Kirby super Star - Marx Fight Theme Remix

An original track for the game. The whole reason the void levels exist is kinda funny, because the seemingly empty spaces they take up were supposed to blue mountains, but CosbyDaf forgot to put the icons there. The track itself went through a lot of variations before becoming what it is now. Everyone on the team including myself had almost no idea what the track should sound like. After sending a proof of concept to the team with an arpeggio that would eventually become the one heard in the final track, it began to take shape. But until recent the track was pretty mediocre andI was still pretty unhappy with it. I ended up overhauling the whole thing about two days before I uploaded it. Image made by Dargon.

Less Than Empty

An original track for the game. This was going to originally be an edit of the blue mountains track with the newly added percussion, but I ended up greatly expanding on that proof of concept. I wanted the track to help tell the story of the pathos giants the blue cave level expands on. Image made by Dargon.

That Never Was

An original track for the game that ultimately went unused due to how unimpressed I was with the arrangement after spending quite a bit of time on it over the course of a few months trying to fix it. I originally wanted to go for a feeling of something being screwed up while retaining the style of the original NES game’s soundtrack by not making sound too serious.
