It's been a very promising couple of years for the Brussels based artist noc:turne. Since we were first introduced to his captivating music on a boat party in north London in the summer of 2022 he has gone on to play gigs across Europe, launch a record label 'Lost In Translation' and most recently release a stunning remix on the highly respected Swiss imprint 'Project Indigo'. We're not quite sure where doing an Oleeva Podcast lands on this scale of notable achievements, but he's done one nonetheless and its quite something. A dream comes true - and most definitely no nightmare, even if you may hear some spooky house tunes.

@UrbnMowgli aka Jerry aka my vinyl Guru jumped with me into a vinyl only b2b which I was just dreaming about some time ago. And I mean both, playing vinyl and a b2b with this special human being! Now I got 2 for 1, deal of my life. 

Never have I seen someone having more feeling for rhythm and music in general while mixing than UrbnMowgli. Despite catching a good connection once we met for the first time thanks to mutual friends next to the canal, our connection got deeper and deeper since then. 

Not just connected through music, which was never a question, only an answer to me. For the first time after turning my back to electronic music, this guys catched my attention with his bouncy house sets back in the days. This relationship developed so wonderful into many various but all beautiful pieces of life. 

Whether it is the art of music making and mixing, the spirituality under the guidance of the glory Eckhart Tolle or the martial art of ancient pingpong - it's always a pleasure to enjoy life to the fullest with you my dawg!

For our fourth release, we welcome Basel-based producer Ben Kaczor. ‘To Baby Bones’ showcases the tracks produced as part of Ben’s first live set presented at Above Below Festival in 2024. 

Written as a homage to a loved one, the title track of the EP is a gentle soundscape traveling through memories and subtle body shivers, far away yet never out of heart’s reach. ‘Bridge’, as if hung high above, suffuses the air with a thick emotional haze, lifting slowly as a walk along a fragile structure ends. Wistfully transforming present into past, ‘This Blue Light’ melds with the orange glow of the sun and dissolves into a white cloud. Driving and fizzy 'Punchbag’ brings all the dreamers down to earth. Immersing them straight into the buzzing front left, it buoyantly concludes an ode to the melody of life and the joy of a loving heart — To Baby Bones.
