Rising South African techno producer D_Know teams up with Teknotribe mainstay Emoutikon for a collaborative EP of dancefloor-driven beats. Opening up with title track 'Syncopate', a big room techno thumper with spaced-out stabs and melodies, what follows are two more diverse tracks that showcase the varied styles of the young producers. 'Percolate' takes things down a notch as a tech-infused house track that builds on a hypnotic, running synth line with bouncy percussion and jacking snares, while D_Know's solo contribution 'Your Mind' takes the BPM up to a thunderous 132 for a Detroit-inspired roller centered around a Roland System1 chord sequence and tape-driven analogue drum patterns.
