I just love this song by Scott Alan and have wanted to cover it for a while but couldn't find an instrumental in the female key. Sooo...I made my own! I didn't even have sheet music so I had to do it by ear. I must say I have much respect for composers and arrangers because it is tedious work! I guess all of those music theory and arranging classes I took in college have come in handy! Ha!

A few weeks ago I tweeted Jason Robert Brown and asked him if it would be weird for a female to sing this song.  This is a song written for a male character in his musical Songs For A New World.  He tweeted back to me, "Why Not?!" and that sounded like a challenge to me!  So here I am singing a man's song that I adore so much.  JRB can play one hell of a piano and his compositions just blow me away!  Hope I did the song justice!

I will be performing the role of Miss Hannigan in the Royal Players' production of Annie this December!  Show dates are December 6-9th and 13-16th.

Company by Stephen Sondheim is one of my favorite shows. One of my dream roles is to play Joanne someday, a drunk, bawdy broad, who sings this song.  I am a bit too young for the role at this point but I hope one day I can sing this song on stage!

This beautiful song from Wicked, the musical, is the perfect song about friendship.  I have been feeling really grateful lately for some of the wonderful friends who have come into my life recently and thought this was the perfect cover to express those feelings.

​She actively performs in theatrical productions and musical venues in Central Arkansas and around the country.
 
​Erin received a Bachelor of Music Performance, Bachelor of Music Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The Univeristy of Central Arkansas.  In addition to performing, she enjoys a career teaching elementary music to children ages 4-12 and is very passionate about the importance of fine arts education.
