"Get Down" is to be released for Record Store Day, April 19, 2014 as a collector's edition 7" vinyl, with it's release becoming available for digital download the following Tuesday, April 22nd.

The record came together when Pearl Gates was on tour in Europe opening for Masta Ace. Gates and eMC previously worked together on eMC's "The Tonite Show" album on the song "Fly Thoughts". Gates also says ''with "The Ritual" I just wanted to invite the listener into the room to see the progression firsthand, and luckily for me once Ace heard the record he wanted to be apart of it.''
