I originally wrote this song on my acoustic in the first month or so of the 2020 Lockdown. I write songs to help myself deal with depression and at the time I was feeling so hopeless and lost. We all felt it, one day I am living my dream as a full time musician and the next all my gigs for the next year were wiped off the calendar. I never intended for this song to turn into almost an 80's tune but as a I started to recorded it a few months ago It just took on a mind of its own and became what you hear now. I will soon release the raw acoustic version of it for comparison.

When I heard the news about Kristoph I did what I always do, which is turn to music for comfort and therapy. I had no idea what would happen but I know that he was there with me while I wrote and recorded this song. He was so enthusiastic about music and food and life. We were kindred spirits and this song is my tribute to him.
