Emporia is a band hailing from the Bay Area in Northern California. Formed in early 2013, Ben Barsocchini and Will Hettel began writing a few songs to occupy the time of the end of their senior year, and also to serve as a culminating musical project. Continuing into later that year and 2014 Emporia has grown to include Connor Burke and Justin Shaw as part of their lineup, and has also expanded to include acoustic releases alongside the full band tracks released.
