Gcinekile ‘Empress Pro ‘Dlamini is a proficient singer, dancer, writer, actress and theatre practitioner. As a young girl she sang in the church choir and due to her early awareness of her artistic inclination, she decided to study music and drama at the FUBA School of Drama and Visual Arts in order to further develop and refine her natural talents. She has been involved in countless music projects since her graduation in 2003, some of which include working with Kwani Experience (2004) and the well-known Mbaqanga group ‘Izintombi Zesi Manje-Manje’ (2005). 

Her music is inspired by her African heritage and her desire to use her music and various other creative abilities to serve the African continent. Her latest musical offering is entitled ‘Journey and My Vision’ and was released on the 7th of May 2014
