Run by I'm Eating People

Empt(e) Records started in late 2007 as an idea with founder Aaron Blubaugh, Nicholas Miller, Bruce Dirden, Kevin Holler, Dave Peck, Scott Tucker, and Chad Stairs, in order to help un-signed & un-booked local bands. Over time the idea grew, and officially became Empt(e) Records. Over the last six years, Empt(e) has acquired some of the greatest talent of the Western MD/Western PA area, including Ophydium, Arctic Wolf, and Radio '65. The label has collaberated with numerous bands and genres across the United States.

Our studios have acquired some of the most top-of-the-line equipment for recording musicians. We carry a full arsenal of guitars (many of which are vintage), basses, keyboards (many of which are also vintage), drums, software, and live sound re-inforcement to fill any band's needs.

We serve all local bands who require our help (including booking, promotion, and merchandising) to get their foot into the door of this hard to manage music industry.
