Melbourne based band Empty Halls cross genres of Rock, Folk,  alt country and ambient instrumental sounds.

Melbourne based singer song writer Sunny Hawkings is about to release his first studio album under the band name Empty Halls.
The album was recorded, produced and mixed at Black Box Studios in the French countryside by Grammy Award winning engineer David Odlum (The Frames, Glen Hansard, Gemma Hayes, Paloma Faith, Terinawen) Both David Odlum and his brother Karl Odlum (ex Frames, Swell Season Guitarist and Bass player)  feature heavily on the album as musicians also) The album covers many styles featuring beautiful melodies, thought provoking lyrics and also rocks out with big fuzzy guitar riffs at times.
Now back in Melbourne, Sunny has put together a great band of local musicians and is ready showcase the new album.
