Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the spanish producer & music live performer Geistform (HANDS / Daft Records).

Rafael Martinez Espinosa, known as Geistform, a Spanish Industrial/ Techno/Electro music producer and performer based in Rubí (Barcelona). Espinosa started his career in the early 2000's and released 5 electrified albums on labels such as Germany's Hands Productions, Belgium’s Daft Records and collaborations on different electronic music labels. 
Geistform production is influenced by minimal techno and industrial sound. His powerful electronic beats, intense analog textures and distortions are generated mostly from analog sources, oscillators and strictly electronic tones. 
His performances at notable shows such as Maschinenfest, Forms Of Hands and others across Europe mirrors his high technical skillfulness and pure conceptuality.

For this 258th Premiere of 2020, we have a track by the French Techno Producer, Live Act and DJ "ZPKF" entitled ‘Society’ from his upcoming EP "Inside The Machine" [WLKG010] on the A-Traction Records sublabel based in France : Walking Records (Techno, Acid, EBM & Rave).

"ZPKF - Inside The Machine" EP will be available on streaming platforms from November 13, 2020.

Release Info :

ZPKF, half of the Torb techno project, made his debut in the Motorbass Studio's lair where he was the assistant of the late Philippe Zdar, (iconic producer of the French touch movement and half of Cassius). As true DIY enthusiasts, they will go as far as to create their own, models of analogue synthesizers in the lineage of other machines such as the TB-303 or the TR-808. With his new 2nd Ep on Walking records, "Inside the Machine", he plunges us into the heart of his modular creation.

The most elementary level of symbolic exchange is a so-called “empty gesture,” an offer made or meant to be rejected. 
As our teachers explain to us, it is customary to ask the victim if he agrees with his fate, but it is also customary for the victim to say yes. Belonging to a society involves a paradoxical point at which each of us is ordered to embrace freely, as the result of our choice, what is anyway imposed on us (we all must love our country or our parents). This paradox of willing (choosing freely) what is in any case necessary, of pretending (maintaining the appearance) that there is a free choice although effectively there isn’t one, is strictly codependent with the notion of an empty symbolic gesture, a gesture – an offer – which is meant to be rejected.
