Straight out of Russian lands, silént phil & Waveform Bat present us with a synthetic being, a singular entity born in the coldness of a printed circuit board. Quantix is an intense shapeshifting track, a bright ecstatic layering of unsettling basses, glitchy synths, and artificial tones.

Expanding further the processes of collaboration of the CLMxGUN project, SEED singles are individual tracks resulting from a spontaneous association between two or more members of the Global URL Nation.

Emerging from the cross-pollination happening among the GUN community, they recombine musical genres and cultural backgrounds into a variety of sounds, producing new breeds and species in the landscape of electronic music. They blossom along the trail of the CLMxGUN journey, providing unique delicacies and brief satisfactions to be picked up and enjoyed in the moment.

Yu Yu x Infinite Machine V/A is a collaboration whose result is a compilation of 14 tracks designed for the dance floor; solid, functional and esoteric. This is a selection of tracks produced by Mexican artists involved in the Club movement from different cities in Mexico, all of them with a conceptual and geographical separation, but with common features that synthesize the essence of the national scene.

Definitive proof of the maturity of the Club scene in Mexico, this compilation is born as an initiative by the most important venue in the capital of Mexico: Yu Yu, which joins forces with the pioneering label Infinite Machine to curate this compilation. An avant-garde ensamble of projects which aims to exhibit a shared imagination through the unification of different styles and music genres. All of this comes from the perspective of Yu Yu's resident, Mexico City-based label, Infinite Machine. A label that has a direct correlation with the global club scene.

This effort also has the goal to financially support the artists involved due to the delicate situation we are going through. As they are part of Yu Yu's community, which is unfortunately closed at the moment. Artists involved from the likes of Nico, AAAA, Microhm with worldwide recognition to up and coming artists like Benfika, OMAAR, CNDSD and the current, most fresh national acts like Loris, KOI and El Irreal Veintiuno. Among other key pieces of national electronics, united in this soundscape of volatile frequencies.

L’Ep « Les Cris de la Pensée » est une expérience relatant l’instabilité des émotions lorsque nous sortons de notre zone de confort sans aucune transition, de la même manière que l’expérience soudaine du confinement suite à la crise sanitaire actuelle.

Coupés de notre entourage, de nos habitudes et de nos désirs parfois compulsifs, nous devenons hypersensibles, irritables, déprimés...

« Grâce » à l’hyper connexion nous avons pu garder contact avec nos proches et avec ce qui se passe dans le monde. L’impression d’être entouré de tous ses proches peut faire naître un nous des sentiments très forts… Mais ces sentiments ne sont que très brefs et sont vite écrasés par la solitude, l’inquiétude et surtout l’impatience, l’impatience de retrouver une vie « normale ». Un bouillon d’énergie crée alors une sorte de bipolarité incontrôlable...

Et pourtant parfois, sans même sans rendre compte, nous prenons du temps pour nous, pour s’enorgueillir dans notre silence, notre propre souffle.

Être au plus près de soi, peut-être pour la première fois.. la découverte de sa vraie nature de manière tardive peut être une expérience presque traumatisante.

Nos compositions ont été réalisées durant le confinement et durant notre retour à la liberté. Nous y avons interprété nos émotions et celle que nous avons perçu dans notre entourage.

Il n’y a plus de juste milieu, aucun équilibre...

Ici la danseuse Mwendwa Marchand se laisse porter par ce qu’elle a pu ressentir durant ce moment de crise majeure, ainsi que pendant tous les autres moments où elle n’a pas su garder le contrôle de ses émotions.

Amour propre, haine de soi, parfois même les deux, une torture semi consciente vient déboussoler son esprit.

La scénographie la plonge au plus profond de son être, entre vide et cloisonnement elle se retrouve perdue dans un labyrinthe sans sortie...

Emptyset is a London/Berlin based production project formed in 2005 by James Ginzburg and Paul Purgas. The project examines the material properties of sound and its correspondence with architecture, performance and physical modes of production. Their recorded output includes the releases Borders for Thrill Jockey, Recur and Collapsed for raster-noton, Signal a commissioned performance working with ionospheric propagation and Medium an expanded live recording in Woodchester Mansion in Gloucestershire. Emptyset have produced works and installations for the David Roberts Art Foundation, Spike Island, Tate Britain and the Architecture Foundation and presented live performances with Unsound, CTM/Transmediale, Kunsthalle Zurich, Ruhrtriennale and Sonic Acts.
