This one is about much more than the dancefloor: "Ruler On The Throne" by Budakid is full of ear openers with it's painted synth sounds and the metallic bleeps combined with the warm voice of Siogue. Such an intense statement of deep and electronic music to end and summarize the season. "The Question Is Why" comes much more poppy and combines different musical cultures. It's trippy and melodic and turns into a funk-tinged anthem while the piano is taken you back to the beach. The remix by Kris Davis speaks the language of the club. An electronic romance for your body, filled with a classy bass line and the power of minimalistic sounds. Out end of September on Einmusika.

‘Angry Baby’ is an irresistible pressure-pot of stomping house, as playful as it’s name and as demanding as its imaginary infant protagonist, with a truly hypnotic, elastic breakdown proving irresistible in a club context . Man Power’s aforementioned remix is less loopy, more analog, with his well-tooled production technique pushing the record’s texture into altogether more cosmic and overwhelming territory, led by wailing synthesis.

Back to Biesmans for B2, and a more acidic, almost unnerving vision unfolds throughout ‘Connecting The Dots’, which does just that, linking futurist, Michigan influences with a more floor-focused, European aesthetic.

Here we go with our first V.A. EP in 2020 packed with 3 excellent tracks, diverse and full of emotions. We start with GMJ & Dimuth K from Melbourne and a real proggy masterpiece called "Ancient future", followed by newcomer duo Solarquest from Beirut with their beautiful debut single "Choreography" and last but not least Carsten Halm from Cologne with a hymn-like dreamy deep house gem called "Show you how to love".

"Originally from just outside Luton, FNP began his musical journey making drum and bass. While at university in Nottingham, his work started to get him attention in all the right places leading to sets supporting world renowned acts such as Enei, S.P.Y, Netsky, Newham Generals & loads more.. All this work & network of people eventually led to him being lined up for a music industry job a few years down the line. At the same time, his record label Slinkiemusic picked up some notable fans including Teki Latex, Avalon Emerson, Ross From Friends, Loxy & Resound & Palace.

Now focusing on his own projects, the London producers music has gained support from Thump Magazine, Clash, Datatransmission and Complex with many more following suit. His remixes with artists across the world have also received overwhelming support from Spotify, bringing his streams to over 300k in the past year, as well as features on their influential Techno State playlist. The London production enigma, has never been one to shy away from experimenting with different genres. previous releases have explored Disco, Synthwave, Techno and Bass music. Working out of his studio in Hackney Wick, his releases in 2019 have pushed the envelope for 303 style acid basslines. "We Are The Gods' was heavily supported by Spotify as well as a number of tastemaker blogs. The follow-ups "No Real Perspective" and “'Acid on Wick Lane', went on to support from Dummy Magazine and The Classy Issue. He finished the release cycle with “Breathe” and the whole catalogue has racked up over 300k streams on Spotify. After a short hiatus, the prolific producer returned with the synth-heavy anthem ‘Interlinked’, which was again heavily supported by Spotify who included it in their ‘Groove Theory’ and ‘Laser Disco’ Playlists. On a personal achievement, an idol of his in Deadmau5 also supported the track on his personal gaming playlist. 

In 2020 - FNP returns with a brand new EP. Exploring elements of ambient, techno and synthwave it’s a project that explores all the sounds in his musical palette. The project ebbs and flows between dark and ambient textures, to groove rich club bangers. The highlight being the title track, which showcases the artists undeniable production talent layering acid textures and analogue chords. On the new EP, FNP states:

The EP is named after some really dodgy posters you see everywhere in the East London area offering part-time work, with a full-time wage. It’s pretty obvious what they’re advertising but I just find them funny because it’s so obvious what they’re recruiting for. The tracks showcase all the many sides of my musical personality, plenty of hard techno but also an ambient element with some nu-disco thrown in for good measure. "
