Ray Derrick Sennon was born in the month of Judah, July 22, 1984  and grew up in Quinam Rd Siparia, Southern Trinidad . Sennon, also his Maiden name, was the first artist title suggested to him by Legendary Saxophonist and music producer Dean Fraser’s brother Uncle Zebby Dan ,who stated that  Sennon meant “Life Given by The Most High”, so Uncle Zebby uttered to him, “a name with such spiritual meaning and power, must be worn as a bright light for it will show his path forever”. Dean Fraser also called him Sen-I which also meant “Life Given by The Most High”. So he merged them and the name Sen-I Sennon was born . 						From a young age Sen-I Sennon showed the promise of becoming a great singer, composer of songs and a life filled with music. His mother nurtured his voice and taught him to harmonize to the vocals of the great Whitney Houston. He wrote songs and took part in school competitions. Though he didn’t win, he never gave up. He also loved running track, but His mother one day made him choose between track and music, music was his passion.
The first conscious reggae song called “So Cold At Night”.Out the gate  he started singing about the struggles the poor must endure and their plight must be heard through the power his sound. He recorded his first songs in a basement with his two brothers working with the little to poor quality equipment they had, but the need for his positive message to be heard, kept him persistent. The meek and the poor people are his inspiration and keep his light burning within his heart to create such uplifting music.                  In the 2005 he moved to Cashire Park and Red Hills Rd, Kingston Jamaica. With an attentive ear and observant eye, he learned the fundamentals of reggae music and entered the realm of Conscious reggae world with Love, his greatest weapon . He had the privilege of working with the great Producer Dean Fraser and made songs such like ‘Ready To Go To Zion and Money The Root Of Evil”. He met great stars like Luciano, Fanton Mojah just to name a few whilst bettering his craft . Whilst living in Jamaica he did many stage shows and won a major singing competition with the song ‘Broken Love’ written by his great friend Burry Fabulous.

In 2008 Sen-I Sennon moved back to the US and joined a production house  called Quab Lab productions in Brooklyn NY, where he later developed into a versatile singer that he says is “ wicked and wild”. Out of this move he was able to manifest cult classics like  his first love song single called “To Hold Me” and another songs like “Lion from Zion” and “True Man Ah Rasta”. 
Sen-I Sennon was born to be a light, a teacher and is here to feed our spirits with spiritual food from Jah Jah.
