Ena Ghema è il frutto della passione di un gruppo di amici per la cultura e la musica reggae, che ha spinto Leandro "'Mpana" e Tremula a formare questa crew allargatasi con l'arrivo di Runner, Plata e Ciccio Rol Bleff   ! Ena Ghema prende il nome dal Griko (antico dialetto della Grecìa Salentina) che significa un sangue (cioè unione di stili diversi e culture molteplici nella voce unica della fratellanza) Dal 2005 è presente sulla scena reggae salentina con impegno e serietà, collaborando con promoter locali che credono in questo sound. Le selezioni spaziano tra i diversi stili che la contaminazione reggae ha introdotto nel salento (partendo dal roots passando al raggamuffin arrivando alle più moderne sonorità ragga, hardcore e hip hop); nelle sue liriche, la crew lancia messaggi multilingue che spaziano tra il dialetto salentino,l'italiano e il griko (proprio per un tentativo di tenere vivo il legame con la storia della propria terra). 
Per quanto riguarda il lavoro in studio Tremula e Leandro 'Mpana si  affacciano nel mondo della produzione, con l'aiuto di Segnale Digitale & Warsound e con due tracce infuocate per il WARSIGNALS Vol2, "Comu na fiata" e "Tra giustizia ed onestà", nel 2009 partecipano ad una compilation con nomi importanti della scena italiana e nn solo nella produzione Treble Studio – il ritmo del Drago dove troviamo Tremula  con la traccia “L’energia della Terra” sempre nel 2009 con comincia una collaborazione con il gruppo milanese – XTREME ENTERTAINMENT – con l’uscita del CD Grezzly Vol.2 e successivamente nel 2010 on-line il vol. 3 di questa raccolta con i brani “Nessuna Giustizia” e “In Faccia alla Realtà”.

Nel maggio 2012 è fuori One Blood E.P. di Plata outta Ena Ghema in FREE DOWNLOAD!!!

Nel 2013 e 2014 vengono pubblicati vari singoli e collaborazioni con altri artisti e beatmaker che si possono ascoltarei nei vari web channels di ENA GHEMA. Ancora nel 2014 la crew lavora all'uscita del primo album da solista di Plata - Positivita' che riesce a valicare i confini salentini portando il suono di E.G. in tutta Italia!
