"My name is Tiago Jaakko and this is my debut V/A compilation for the Almighty Zenon Records.

NO LIGHT WITHOUT DARKNESS” is my own take and personal view on the Z-Sound.

I will guide you into a deep journey through the full array of the Zenon Soundscapes and Aesthetics, a meticulously crafted selection of gem tracks diving through the solid representation of the Z concept of Music:

Dark Prog, Psy-Prog, Psychedelic Techno, Groovy, Glitch & Squelch, Swampy, Doof & Bush, Industrial, Small Talk and all the way to the immersive and emotional Cinematic Zenonesque.

I will be your pilot on this journey we will embark together from take-off to landing and I really hope you can enjoy my ride 🛸

This series of releases reflects what is happening presently on Psychedelic scene in Russia and actually has quite an interesting background. The first compilation NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA was brought out almost simultaneously with the appearing of our label 16 years ago and was immediately appreciated by Psytrance lovers all over the Globe. The second release of this series VA NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA 2 (2006] was compiled in cooperation with the cult label DEJAVU RECORDS  and yielded great success. The decade has passed since then and now we are coming up with the third part VA NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA 3, that we are perfectly sure, is bound to be loved by modern trance community. 
 The digital compilation consists of  10 conscientiously chosen  music stories .The tracks from soundmasters Delirious Noon, Transdriver, Fungus Funk and Groove Hunter were made especially for this compillation and surely going to blow you away as well as the greatest track from our resident Glooex. Following an old good Vertigo tradition of sharing our new discoveries, in this VA we introduce you a few new up-and-coming producers such as Deseptio Visus , Universcience and Nemo. And the cherry on top of the whole thing is the track from our great resident Delirious Noon, that broke the ice of long long silence to appear again now here on NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA 3. 
It's acknowledged, that Psychedelic trance culture originated in Goa, India. And what is more, for many Goa still remains Mecca of trance culture, expanding it's influence on the psy movement throughout the World. Party people, who may never ever leave their countries, nowadays know very well such Indian words us OM, SHANTI, SHIVA, NAMASTE etc etc. That's why a bit Indianized Matryoshka is looking at you from our release's picture. What can be said about a producer who takes his feelings and introspections about a broken world and turns them into an expressive art form that is almost like a painting made with electronic sounds. In his own words, Egon’s Embrace wants “to produce something that takes him someplace otherworldly” and we at Sangoma are entranced to self-indulge into Egon’s personal catharsis. “A Little Larger Than The Entire Universe” is an experimental psychedelic oddity, full of lush sonic landscapes and melodies that are at once beautiful and dark. It is an intriguing invitation for the audience, as its music shape aesthetic experience into engaging electronic aural event with layer upon layer of subtlety. 

The nine tracks on the album shape a dark sonic descent into a netherworld of life amidst love, joy, depression and an ever-evolving landscape of human life marked by encounters with others. Egon’s Embrace succeeds in giving us yet another interplay between dreamy, melodic and yet dark electronic psychedelic music. As everything he has ever done, this release has more ways of finding and seeing profound beauty in the despair and agony that often surround us. In order to visually accompany Egon’s musical vision, art cover has been made by established Polish painter Leszek Kostuj whose understanding of art as an everlasting metamorphosis of our grasp of reality is a perfect companion to the album complex narrative. Thanks to Ady “Scorb” Connor, a highly regarded mastering engineer, tracks are ready to embrace you and share with you pieces of Egon’s (in)sanity. We are thrilled to invite you to witness with us evolution, creativity, and inspiring psychedelic experience of a unique producer whose music is definitely outside “of the box”.
