Aiden is one of the resident artists of Cinematique. After a string of releases and remixes we’re happy to announce his debut album ‘Gebruikerssporen’ later this year. The first single ‘Arboretum’ is a preview of what’s coming. The single includes two originals and two remixes.

One of the tracks is called ‘Houdje Touwtje’ and it features the vocals of Hermione Green. Where the original is quite off beat, the guys of Folie a deux turned it into a stunning dance floor tune. It’s the second appearance of the Dutch duo after they previously released an EP on Cinematique. With their amazing remix for Aiden we believe they will appeal to the Afterlife and Life & Death crowds.

Tony Casanova is opening the EP with his deep and base driven track 'User Name'. Hypnotic melodies, robotic vocals and wide pads are sending you into a long night.

Second track comes from Madrid based producers Depaart. Their key element is an unpredictable arpeggiator supported by an uplifting baseline while followed by filtered vocal cuts. 

'Woodpecker' is the work of Berlin based producer duo T.M.A! This track has so many great details which makes it hard to explain but for sure you will dance and smile.

With a nod to the Portuguese word ‘Obrigado’ (thanks) and the wider collective of people and influences who allow the magic to happen, Argentinian duo Brian Harrison and Martin Kasall created Brigado Crew in 2012, and have been making waves in the electronic music scene ever since.

Fusing the power of techno with playful percussion, ‘Farah’ lures you in with solid basslines and circular crescendos. Gentle piano is complemented by spacey synths, building to gentle peaks but always retaining substance.

Like the mountain systems of Central Asia, ‘Hindu Kush’ travels you from the depths of the valley to a peaky zenith. Ubbah brings his characteristic deeper, darker influence to this track, maintaining Brigado Crew’s complex rhythms and mystical vocals.

Potently profound melodies woven with compelling strings are tempered by ritualistic percussion in ‘Jena.’ Driving synths are the perfect foil for the lighter, more organic elements of this captivating track.

Paradoxical yet paradaisic, we give thanks for the gift that is ‘Jena:’ a multifarious EP which, in only three tracks, delivers urgent, organic dynamism.

Once again, I was in heaven with incredible people and great energy. I was originally scheduled to play from 3-5 am that day, however got carried away from the amazing energy and perfect vibe and ended up leaving my set at 11 am. I would have loved to provide the whole set here, but  I was only able to crop the sunrise hour and upload this part.

The journey starts with 'Stranded Spaceman', an organic composition with guitars and unpredictable sounds. The song builds and builds until it reaches a surprising breakdown. Dubspeeka penetrates into the deeper elements of the track, adding more light to the original melody and getting a hypnotic remix that keeps the tension all around. On 'Artificial Intelligence' you will find a perfect building up in from the beginning to the end.
