Proving exactly how global this Global Club Music scene can get, this top-notch producer returns to Enchufada with the powerful Arriba, a bass-heavy track that sees the studio wizard blend UK bass music staples with all sorts of tropical dance floor heat. Heavy syncopated drums and roaring basslines draw inspiration from the London underground scene, as the layers of intricate percussion and contagious flute melodies create a hypnotic vibe with middle-eastern flavour that is bound to make hips sway across the world. 

Arriba points the Global Club Music series that is Upper Cuts in new and unexpected directions, while keeping the party vibes on a constant high. This tune marks Bert On Beats' return to the label, after dropping the powerful Bassy Baile on the Hard Ass Sessions EP series back in 2011.

“Gira” (a portuguese word meaning to change or turn around) is Batuk’s third single and music video (following the tribal house of “Daniel”, and the upbeat township house of “Call Me Naughty”).  Batuk's debut album, "Musica da Terra" will be released on May 27th 2016. 

Batuk’s latest single, is a hard hitting song of protest, calling for change. Addressing the constant war and fighting in Africa, the song is born of dance floor culture, but not of it’s typical hedonistic nature. Gira is a loud call for change from the youth of Africa. There are currently fifteen African countries involved in war, or are experiencing post-war conflict and tension. The statistics are not only shocking/frightening…the time has come for CHANGE. 

The beautiful music video was submitted to Batuk, by a fan who was touched by the song at a live show, and dug through his trove of documentaries and stock footage to create a powerful montage. 

On the EP, the Gira original version is accompanied by two stunning South African house remixes, one by the Ggom stalwarts, Rudeboyz, and another by Johannesburg legend producer/DJ Eltonnick.

Populous returns to Wonderwheel with two remixes of the first single (on the album of the same name) "Azulejos". First up is Man Recordings boss Daniel Haaksman, who gives the track a stuttering rework straight to the dancefloor, while Rastronaut brings in a more dubby house vibe.
