The Mexican duo DNZA and Undrwght, hailing from Tlaxcala, are back with Ravers—an EP that bottles up the electric vibe of rave culture, pulsing with club sounds and a distinctly Latin essence. This new release is a sonic journey that morphs into a full-on dancefloor experience, where every beat celebrates dancefloor euphoria and that shared spirit of the party.

Birthed in a single session in DNZA’s studio, the creative flow of Ravers was all about synergy and intuition, with tracks like “El Ritmo,” “Warehouse,” and “Ravers” taking shape in just one day. This explosive burst of creativity wraps up with “Estrobo,” the final track, which closes out the EP with relentless, high-octane energy. Ignoring genre labels, the duo lets the sounds flow, guided by the energy of club, bass, and Latin club vibes, aiming to capture the raw feel of the moment.

Unlike previous releases like Shape Shifters and Anfibio, where afro influences and hard drums built an evolving narrative, Ravers sticks to a steady, linear groove that just doesn’t quit. It's a nod to the stabs, breaks, and deep basslines that define rave culture, blended with a fresh approach and the growing chemistry between these two artists since their first collab on Genoma EP.

With Ravers, DNZA and Undrwght not only cement their place in the Mexican electronic scene but also showcase their evolution, bringing a mature, precise take on club-driven euphoria. On this EP, the dancefloor feels like a shared space where every beat invites you to join the experience.

Not quite sure of the sources of inspiration for the track selection here. Roughly speaking I would say the programming style of Ben Klock is still present but other than that it is really just where my own style has evolved to at this point of my djing history.

PEDRO is the Portuguese DJ and producer formerly known as KKing Kong. Born and raised in the Lisbon suburb of Damaia, tarraxo, kizomba and kuduro contributed largely to the soundtrack of his youth, and he has been celebrating this influence ever since he first started making beats in his bedroom in 2013, up until his most recent releases that solidify a unique and unmistakeable sound that places him at the forefront of Lisbon’s electronic revolution. 

Strong syncopated beats and some of the most hypnotic and addictive melodies to ever come out of the Lisbon suburbs are the main elements of his highly personal vision of electronic dance music, which has already been translated in global dance floor anthems such as the recent ‘Damaia’ or ‘Drenas’ (which has reached 1 million plays on Spotify in only one month). These tracks are responsible for regularly igniting Lisbon dance floors, such as the celebrated Enchufada Hard Ass Sessions where he regularly DJs, or the De Surra club night he started alongside DJ Progressivu, but also international stages as he won the praise of artists such as Diplo, Sango, Baauer or DJ Snake, who regularly feature PEDRO’s productions on their DJ sets. 

These anthems have now been compiled in ‘Damaia 2.0’, a collection of tracks from Lisbon’s most exciting young producer, as he renames himself to take his domination of the global club scene even further in 2018.
