Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore IX, the Aborted Genocide ending, details an ending in which a bored and jaded Frisk decided to kill absolutely everyone with the exception of a monster or two near the end of their journey, just to see what would happen. Alphys has no choice but to take over, and the Underground has morphed into a semi-industrialized society motivated by pure aggression and vengeance. Humans are to be treated as...well, take a wild guess.

Undyne, now a shell of her former self trapped in a robotic husk, takes the role of Flowey. What was left of her was salvaged after she perished at the merciless hands of the human. Alphys did everything in her power to bring her back, but in the process she may have created a new threat no one was prepared for. As if her life wasn't hard enough.

SoulBlast is an AU made by TerraSaviorX and Alternimo. It is a unique roleswap AU (in terms of the swaps themselves). It is built around the main heroes swapping with the secret bosses. As such, there will be three entirely original chapters (3, 4, and 5) differing from Deltarune’s greatly.

In this AU, Chara is in the role of Lancer. They are a hyperactive young child who tries to stop you but ends up failing every time. They wield two knives instead of a bike, and is really just a typical six year old. Although, they could cause some real damage if they really tried.

Also, I am aware that Megalo Strike Back isn’t canonically Chara’s theme, but it still fit for this song.

Don't have much to say on the goofier side of things here, unfortunately. The silly side of the date was one of many things I never got around to finishing in the rewrite.

As for the serious side...Sans offers to share with you the state of the kingdom, and what you're about to walk into if you keep moving forward. Lore dump incoming!

"WELP, GET COZY! THIS STORY'S A LONG ONE."

He shares that the underground is in the middle of a civil war. 

After Asgore abandoned the kingdom and Toriel became the sole ruler, she made it very clear that any human that were to fall down into their home were to be treated kindly, unless they sought to harm others. She did not believe in using humans who had no quarrel with monsterkind as a stepping stone toward freedom. 

Many monsters disagreed with the Queen's ruling, believing that it would keep them trapped underground forever. They longed to see the sun again and many begged Toriel to reconsider, but she dismissed any attempts to change her mind. 

Eventually, a group of monsters formed; a silent rebellion, plotting to discreetly capture and kill any humans that fell, hostile or not. Their souls would be contained and eventually given to their leader, who would become a god that would save monsters from their mountain prison. 

Five humans were killed before they were caught. A few of the members were apprehended, and the souls were brought to Toriel's chamber. Among those five was a human that Toriel had met herself, an ambitious young child that reminded her of her late Asriel. She broke down upon receiving this news, and the souls reacted to her emotional outburst. They erupted from their glass containers, creating a magical barrier in her chamber, similar to the one that sealed the monsters beneath Mt. Ebott. It seemed the souls were trying to protect her, but...in the long run, it didn't do anyone much good.

The souls scattered afterward. No one knows what happened to them. There's rumors they turned to stone, and that people have found them and are hiding them, but there's nothing concrete to back that up.

The Queen was effectively locked away from her own kingdom, and the rebellion took this as an opportunity to expand uncontested. They became The Nexus, and they've fully taken Hotland as their territory. They've tried to press further into Waterfall and Snowdin, but the remaining guard has refused to let that happen.

What stood in the center of this war was you: the player. The Nexus needs another human, and many monsters are willing to turn you over to them for their own safety. You have a few allies (in Pacifist, at least), but ultimately, this journey would be one with many hostile faces. 



Being able to finally share this aspect of the story is...relieving, in a sense. It's probably not what most were expecting outside of those who had story leaked to them via team members, but it's been a big aspect of the story for a long time. More to come on this stuff in future tracks...does Soundcloud have a description character limit? I sure hope it doesn't.

This track existed a while back and while I'm recovering, I dug around the folders and found this. I decided to flesh out the entire composition (which didn't take a lot of time). And I'm proud of how this turned out!

Underswitched is another au arises to be a "role-switching" type. Here, Waterfall is replaced with Snowdin and it's called "Icymount". Papyrus takes the role of Undyne and is royally known as the "Highborn Huntsman", The Elder Puzzler takes the role of Monster Kid, Greater Dog takes the role of Mad Dummy, Gaster takes the role of Gerson, So Sorry takes the role of Napstablook, and Annoying Dog takes the role of Temmie!
