"I put a lot of love in to this mix so I hope you enjoy it! It includes many artists who I have recently, and in some cases for a much longer time, found inspiring to my own personal evolution as part of Shaddah Tuum and in my solo practice as a musician and performer. It also includes some recently released and unreleased music from Portals Editions as well as artists who are close to us. I have been reading a lot about Tibetan Buddhism, and of late, the Bardo Thodol (Tibetan Book of the Dead), the name of which is sometimes translated as "The Great Liberation Through Hearing In The Bardo" and the mix is conceived as a simulation of journeying through that vast in-between state." > Xorzyzt

Portals Editions was founded in Berlin in 2014 by Marijn Degenaar (Circular Ruins, NL), Yair Glotman (Ketev, IS), Nicolas Lefort (Shaddah Tuum, FR), and Brandon Rosenbluth (Shaddah Tuum, US) as a platform for their own music and art as well as the work of their wider network of artists. They are committed to physical formats for releasing music and creating impressive objects with a personal touch that serve as keys to accessing the outer realms of consciousness.
