There is a mountain

just a thought, really, about how we know the world.  This is based on a Japanese pentatonic scale - kumoi - but I don't know the music this is used in.  I have no cultural connection to kumoi, no experiential understanding of how it is used by Japanese musicians.  There is no praxis here, no embeddedness, only abstraction, only theory.  Ultimately then, the scale is disconnected from its point of origin; it is no longer "Japanese" with or without quote marks.  It is only music.

A Man of Mystery and a Person of Interest, Anon, A Mouse! is the nom de musique of a sonic artiste whose musical and visual universe is influenced by Nu Jazz, Old Jazz, Ye Olde Jazze, and other stuff. It combines Deep House, Shallow Backyard and 80s’ Chicago Hip Replacement movement to revisit the Boogie House style- a genre he wants to push the limits of.
Innovative producer, Anon, A Mouse! presents a new vision of the underground culture. It is focus on a cons-cultural and different approach to hyper communication. A way to offer an authentic approach with regards to his listeners.
In an era where everything is revolving around intrusive social networking, Anon, A Mouse! took a stand by refusing any form of stardom. Deeply old school and rebellious, he decided to play with his face partially covered, mixing mystery and passion and obscuring his smirk. One way to aim attention at his music and carry a strong message : no trends, no fame, no buzz, only music, music and more music.
This individual approach is as passionate as it is audacious, especially in current times.
