It's Alright - Feat Strange Boy

I would like to share with you the three songs we recorded live on the 9th of January 2019 at Jazzanova Recording Studio Berlin, in the order in which we played them. 
We actually had three days in the studio before this day and I didn't allow any filming because I wanted our full attention to be on the music and full presence. As a compromise I arranged for my friend Frederic Eiden to come film on the fourth day. I simply wanted to get some footage of us in the studio. It turned out that the live takes in front of the camera sounded and felt wonderful to us. I decided they had to go out and they should go out soon, even before the "produced" versions in the case of So Easy and Slow Your Attention. 
I am especially proud of So Easy. It is a seven minute song and it's rare to get the whole song feeling amazing even in rehearsal. In front of the camera we did the best take to date of that song, it was pretty crazy. At the end of the take we all felt like - well that's definitely it, wow.

I’m not always in the position where everything makes sense. I often find myself in the period of doubt or the period of struggle or the period of not knowing if it will it all ever make sense again. 
I wanted to capture a moment of feeling that freedom, that sense of having arrived, that sense of everything in its right place, so that people can access it in more difficult times or celebrate it and feel it more deeply when it does come around, and it always comes around, sooner or later.

After 4 years of facilitating other creators as a producer, writer or collaborator, Enda Gallery, created delush to share his own deepest and truest experiences and realisations. delush creates to illuminate self-knowledge, inspire wonder, and help create a future he would love to live in. 
This upcoming release entitled The Greatest Gift describes the moments of realisation that make sense of everything.

The song was written and produced by delush and features the incredible Afro-Irish soul singer Tolü Makay and the magnificent African Gospel Choir based in Dublin, Ireland.  

It will be released on November 15th via Welcome to the New World.

He  soon reconnected with Limerick, the birthplace of his musical journey, and its thriving hip-hop scene by collaborating with rapper Strange Boy on the follow-up single 'It’s Alright', which made rotation on 2fm in Ireland, Radio 1 in Germany and featured on the BBC Introducing Mixtape.  (“Superb” - John Kennedy, Radio X // “style and substance in spades.” - Nialler9)

delush is currently working on his album, which is due for release in 2020 and is in collaboration with the grammy-nominated producer duo Christian Rich (J.Cole, Mac Miller, Childish Gambino). 
delush was selected to perform at this year's Ireland Music Week showcase.
