for the 1st time to Belgrade Serbia in a culture center 
where the party doesnt have to end at a certain time.
KC Drugstore is made from the HEADS and the vibe is over 
when everyone decides it is..
the session starts or continues from 1 hand to another as Schwabe was playing a new production from baris K on a new label but we dont know much more than this, 
but we heard the track is really long so Traxx stepped up
to stay on the same slow vibe tempo you hear and brings
in his own music blueprint of a long play production for 
those who could believe that.
the disc jockey before had the track playing it for the 
early attendees but we used it to allow the journey to 
take flight thru the nite til very late the next day..

https://soundcloud.com/placa_fer is a tool to experiment and to connect. Its main intention is to generate a sonic diary, gradually adding layers of information, memories and emotions. 
With an attraction towards storytelling, imperfection and out of control  scenarios, placa's compositions aim to take the listener to concrete places and ephemeral situations with field recordings as its cornerstone. Archiving moments, as if clips were filmed and stored for future reference. 

 "kyo-ka" for Mnemosyne is the sound map of a trip to Japan in late 2019. 

"What was a crucial sound experience in your life?"
When I first listened to my first field recordings with studio headphones I was shocked by the power they had to take me to specific moments and places in life instantly. Even if some years have passed by, they still hold that super power. It is also fascinating how, every time I listen to them, I hear new details and new strong connections are built. The micro macro perception when listening to field recordings has really influenced the way I listen to my everyday context.

MNEMOSYNE #042 - PLACA

Ambient set from 5-6:30am in celebration of Imbolc, February 3-4, 2023.

I hosted a party in celebration of Imbolc—an ancient Gaelic festival that happens after Samhain to bring in the start of Spring—and hosted 40 creatives, artists, and cultural workers for eight hours. We shared food and music.

Additional DJs included DJ Etta, Gold-E-Loxx, Charles Trees, James Allen b2b Miguel Cisne, and Patches, with lighting by Otodojo.

Camille Altay is an artist across multiple mediums. Though identified primarily as a painter, they came up as a DJ in the rave scene in Chicago in the late 90s. An original member of Birds of Prey (Kathexis Records, Mysteries of the Deep) and current collaborator with LA artist Israel Vines with a forthcoming release on Tresor, Camille’s also been building a house—quite literally. I have believed for many years there’s nothing Camille can’t do with exceptional grace and skill. And how does one aspire to set the tone for their day? “My approach to sound and music is interwoven with the practice of art, and it becomes about trying my best, in small ways each day, to be mindful of what I listen to, in order that I might create a condition for this calling-in of inspiration.” Enjoy the two-hour ride.

They have released with Acid Camp (2024) and self-released three EPs (2014-2018) and one LP, Come Home (2019). They are the founder and co-organizer of @mooooods.
