Here you have a new mixtape with strictly Studio One tunes. This carefully curated selection wants to celebrate the timeless sounds of Studio One, one of the true cornerstones of Jamaican music. Often referred to as the Motown of Jamaica, Studio One has played an essential role in the birth and evolution of ska, rocksteady, and reggae, launching the careers of countless artists who becamed legends.

Founded by producer Clement Sir Coxsone Dodd in the 50s, Studio One became the place where legendary riddims were born, setting the foundation for generations of music to come.

This is our likkle tribute!

Sovint anomenat el Motown de Jamaica, Studio One ha jugat un rol imprescindible en el naixement i desenvolupament de gèneres com l'ska, el rocksteady i el reggae, i sent el bressol d'una pila d'artistes que amb el temps s'han convertit en llegendes.
