In the authors words, this EP was recorded while he was restructuring his modular equipment. 

This "always provides an exciting moment of exploration and discovery of new sounds. I added quite a few new modules in that time and, in my experience, that is one of the best opportunities to have happy accidents in the studio because the system itself takes me to a combination of sound sources, sequencers and effects that work together". Hence the name Unruly Machines. "Ive experimented a lot with spectral techniques and layering, which is most prominent in the textures of Corridor and the main synth line of Targa. The tracks were also created in a phase where I started incorporating more and more dedicated drum modules. 

The first order of business was, of course, to route them through a bunch of external effects (mainly distortion and delays), which contributed to the raw sound of some of the tracks".

Abstraction is a Cuban underground techno label that has been releasing quality music for several years. Artists such as Bas Mooy, Arnaud Le Texier, Temudo, and Vegim have contributed tracks and remixes to the label.

E.DN is an artist who was born in London and nurtured in Edinburgh. He creates groove-centric soundscapes with complex rhythms, captivating movements, and poignant moods by fusing cultural inspirations. E.DN is a well-known personality in Scotland's underground techno scene and a major contributor to the well-known Parallel Visions label, co-owned by Frazi.er, as well as having his music released on labels like Slam's Soma, ĪSARN, and Grab The Groove have released his prolific productions.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Nishino" with a raw and dystopian sound. Atmospheric breaths add a palpable tension to this punchy groove, while the sci-fi bleeping brings it to a modular realm of analogue satisfaction altogether combining to create a dance floor delight.

Since his debut in 2014, Endlec’s impact has been nothing short of legendary with his uncompromising sound carving new paths in underground techno.
His music is defined by an unyielding drive, razor-sharp sound design and a hypnotic energy that has set dance-floors on fire worldwide. 
Endlec’s signature blend of industrial grit, pounding kicks and atmospheric depth transports listeners into a raw, immersive sonic world. 
He pulls from the essence of classic Detroit and European techno while forging a sound that is uniquely his own. Visceral, powerful and forward-thinking.

2024 saw him doubling down on his signature formula: stripped-back tools fused with industrial crunch and a sharpened rhythmic edge. 
'Futur Akustik' dropped first. 
Four slabs of looped tension, jacking funk and precision-built grooves for the peak hours. 
Then came 'Systems Of Substance', a deeper dive into tonal hypnosis, pushing the Renegade sound into a more minimal yet no less impactful zone. Later that year, the 'Pitch Black Realm EP' for Kazerne flexed another angle. Cinematic scope, pitch-dark atmospheres and serious low-end pressure.

But it was in 2025 that Endlec hit a new stride. Eternal, his full-length debut album, delivered the knockout. Across ten tracks, he weaves a narrative of techno as resistance. Built with a brutalist aesthetic but never without soul, Eternal is a statement piece: not just a showcase of where Endlec is now but a timestamp of where this movement is headed. It’s a record rooted in the club but built to last beyond it. It's a raw, precise and deeply intentional piece of work.

Each release from this period holds its own but together they trace a bigger arc. One of evolution without compromise. 
A clear message: function doesn't mean formula and impact doesn't need excess.
