FRANCOIS DILLINGER [Ben Worden] glides between the two worlds of electro and techno. His journey through the genres is dark while retaining a cerebral, dancefloor-oriented quality. This stems from influences of Industrial, Detroit electro, and even Ghettotech that were a part of his first explorations as a DJ in Detroit. In the studio, Francois uses primarily all external hardware and modular gear, utilizing Ableton for final arrangements and editing. His Live & DJ sets lean heavily into the generation of hypnotic loops, creating long protracted mixes between elements to form unshakeable tension. As a former promoter, long-time performer, and supporter of the scene – he’s been a part of the Detroit community for over 20 years.
 
In 2021, DILLINGER released three albums—two on vinyl and one on cassette. He was featured on several VA’s, most notably on Planet_e’s Detroit Love compilation. Over 30 artists remixed his tracks in the last year including the likes of Keith ‘K1’ Tucker, Detroit’s Filthiest, Jensen Interceptor, Pip Williams (of London Modular Alliance), Luxus Varta and others. As a remixer himself, he’s garnered DJ support from the likes of Dave Clarke and DJ Stingray. The 2022 release calendar is already full of new remix projects, and EPs on labels like AVOIDANT (Soma Records), Mannequin Records and others.
 
Detroit’s Deep Space Radio hosts FRANCOIS’s resident podcast on the network, which broadcasts new episodes monthly. MINDFRAME, is part of a conceptual series of albums and projects from DILLINGER—each episode on DSR features guest artists and interviews and has showcased his own live and DJ sets as well.  

Especially for our podcast, Francois recorded a meditative immersion with his trademark complex intricacies.

We have been following him for years now and after seeing some of his performances in different clubs and festivals, we can say that it is a real pleasure to have Waje in our IM mixes.

Bio Waje:
Dj de vieja escuela, coleccionista de discos de vinilo e investigador incansable desde hace más de 30 años.
Apartado siempre de lo establecido ,buscando otros y diferentes caminos donde saciar  la curiosidad impetuosa por la música.
Antes de sus comienzos como dj, siempre ha sentido un deseo irrefrenable por compartir sus descubrimientos y conocimientos en el ámbito de la música, lo qué le impulsaba gratamente a grabar casettes personalizando la selección a muchos amigos de la juventud e incluso a pequeños pubs y bares de su barrio natal desde donde se inician sus comienzos en el 88 como profesional, gracias a un amigo dj residente de un pequeño club ya desaparecido y qué acostumbraba visitar frecuentemente con una maleta de vinilos, la cual ponía a disposición de su amigo Pitufax,dj residente de dicho club llamado Limite 69 y al tiempo le grabase tapemixes partiendo de la selección hecha por el mismo Waje. Al poco tiempo le plantean trabajar como dj residente en dicho club.
Desde ese momento y hasta hoy, no ha dejado de reflejar una identidad propia en su labor como dj, buscando siempre....sobre todo en las caras b.
Influenciado principalmente desde la música electrónica de últimos 70 y 80 además de la escena y djs de la costa valenciana de últimos de los 80. 
Partiendo de estas influencias, los sonidos y ritmos que más rondaban por su cabeza son los que abarcaban estilos como el synth pop, Coldwave, Ebm, Electro e industrial.

The DJ and hardware focussed producer has been impressing with his work for some time with deadly releases on labels like Electric Shapes, Sign Bit Zero, numerous on Pinkman Broken Dreams, on towLie's kaften label, on Arma Records as his alias Golden Axe and others. With the recent Ukraine war, he has made it a point as a Russian artist to take a stance against violence and speak out. He has contributed in many ways including all sales from his EP on Pinkman this year as well as being part of the fundraiser compilation by Global Warming Records which was curated by Yssue and featured 22 Russian artists. Lock in for a synth-heavy hour of chugging electro, EBM, and more.

MANASYt - is a Bulgarian dark mastermind has been rocking his own brand of Nurolektro since 2003. He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Bunker, Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6 and Musar. An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre.
Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic but most sound like what exactly hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.
Currently based in Amoy, China.
