We like to think that each month with the full moon one of our guests will be able to take us on a journey, but in this case the voyage is a musical one... and then if you wish to imagine riding the Hippogriff, that will also contribute to the fantasy. The moon, also responsible for the tides and the subject of popular legends, the full moon with its magic, luck, prosperity and creativity .. An event for which we cannot fail to recognize the beauty and perfection, when we reunited with something deep within us, and can still look up there to say: how beautiful! As a founder member of San Francisco’s Wicked Sound System, https://www.facebook.com/Garthhound and crew have spent three decades fanning the flames of conscious hell-raising in California. 
His sound is a radical fusion of Acid House, Space Disco & Psych Rock. He has produced more than 60 records mostly on his own labels Grayhound, Wicked and Golden Goose. His remixes include everyone from Strafe, The Units, Tribe Called Quest, Faithless, Perry Farrell, Yabby You & Adam Freeland. Bringing UK sound system culture to San Francisco in 1991, Wicked’s lawless full moon beach parties ushered in an era of Acid House hysteria that ripped through the west coast and spread into the heartland. In 2010 Time Out NY included Garth’s Wicked crew in the top 10 Best House DJs of all time, alongside Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy and Tony Humphries. He stays true to the original art form playing all vinyl sets at clubs and festivals around the world.

Federico is one half of infamous long-time duo @Italoboyz, who have spent the last two decades constantly (pandemic permitting!) touring around the world and collecting music from the most remote places on earth.
As well as playing and releasing music as Italoboyz, Fede loves to find and play every type of music, in every format possible, from radio archive material, to TV collections, to remote libraries, always hunting for the best possible quality no matter what genre. The fusion of all those elements creates a transcendental atmosphere, which unfortunately doesn't always translate to the dance-floor!  This mix is an example, which I hope translates well to whichever environment you listen to it in - enjoy!
