Gledd brings a great mix of funk, disco, Afro and plenty of extra special magic to this hot new EP on Saint Wax. It opens with 'Papa Bel' which is a steamy cut with florid melodic leads and tribal percussion. 'Tanda' then brings wailing vocals and more organic and jumbled grooves that ooze summer heat. The Afro rhythms continue through 'Rewild' which has a lively broken beat that rides stiff drums and last of all is the most intense of the lot - 'Guado Loop' is heavily layered with drums and perc, vocals, congas and background chants that will get any dance floor in a sweat.

PREMIERE: Gledd & His Moving Orchestra - Papa Bel [Saint Wax]

The hardest working man in showbiz is back with four wonky balearic-not-balearic wobblers, cementing his reputation as one of the UK's best producers of downtempo, leftfield grooves.

Love Tracks loads a sample into the funk machine and presses the big red button. What comes out the other end has dub efx, vocal samples, and delays aplenty for a trip into 70s disco space.

Next up, Is It Daylight? takes the groove deep with shimmering synths and tripped out arpeggiated samples. Late night, hypnotic and mesmerising.

Female Planet takes Compass Point as the starting line and does a hard left. 80s bass, dub, broken beats, disco and female empowerment blend into underground party music  wearing a smile.

Finally, a murky motorik beat, busted synths and congas come off as organic, soulful kosmische, laying the bed for the heartfelt, plaintive vocals.
