We are happy to share the full closing set from Bonanza 2024 in all its glory, recorded on the Sunday night into Monday morning, from none other than Jane Fitz.

The closing is always a special time, especially for a non-stop, intimate event like Bonanza. When we managed to convince Jane to come to our little jungle riverside rave-up, we knew it was the slot for her. You can feel the emotion and energy on display over these 4 glorious hours; dive in and bask in the sun-kissed squelch.

Ivan Smagghe is stepping up to take over Tapes #142. Known for his ability to play music like a raw conduit between famously obscure records whilst never losing sight of the dancefloor’s strobe soaked bodies - injecting something of himself seamlessly into the mix along the way. 

His genre defying/defining production from Black Strobe, It’s A Fine Line, Smagghe & Cross and now Ivan & Johnny has connected him to and garnered the praise from the likes of Craig Richards, Vladimir Ivkovic, Paranoid London, Solar and of course, his long time friend Andrew Weatherall - all fellow crusaders in the fight to prove that electronic music is so much more than a one dimensional soundtrack for a night on the lash, and so much more than an Instagram account.

Wrapping up the year in style, we’re happy to share the 2nd pieces podcast: a recording of Ivan Smagghe at Houghton Festival last August.

Inspiration Tea is a collection of the debut works of Sydney Electronic Duo, Endless Tangent (Max Pomirski & Campbell Drummond). Drawing influence from genres such as House, Techno and Electro, this music claims to be none of these things and at times, all of them at once. 
Endless Tangent tunes are the result of combining the inspiration of an old(ish) DJ and a young musician/DJ who are bent on making their mark in a world of overcooked and unimaginative music.
