End of Innocence was formed in May of 2004. Eddie singing and yelling his feelings on the microphone, Jerry blasting on the guitar, Joshua bursting on the bass, and Gil pounding out the beats on the drums makes up the sound of End of Innocence. The style has a deep punk rock feeling but also has influences of other styles from Ska to Heavy Metal. Bands that had a major influence on the band are Green Day, Minor Threat, Megadeth, The Cure, Tool, Youth Brigade, and Go Betty Go. In the years that the band have been together we have played many shows. The biggest shows we played are The Roxy in Hollywood. Most of the shows have been played in backyards and abandoned warehouses. It is playing in backyards that remind us of where we came from. We feel closer to the crowd; and younger people  tend to relate more to the lyrics about love and depression. The band’s purpose is to have kids relate to their songs and in some way help them out. End of Innocence feels that if they accomplish that then they have done their job.
