History has taught us many things, yet it reminds us time and again that resistance is the thread that binds our shared human struggles. This mix I have created for Vena’s show on Radio Alhara's “Sonic Resistance Practices” is an invitation to reflect on our era—a call to listen deeply and feel the overwhelming force of solidarity through sound.
Blending ambient and experimental layers with archival radio samples from Syria and Palestine, the mix amplifies voices that speak to global struggles and collective hope. It features the transformative works of artists and collectives such as Jerusalem in My Heart, Saint Abdullah, and the independent record label Mediteranos. These sounds form a powerful testament to artistic commitment and resistance—a resonant force that transcends borders.
Through this mix, I aim to carve out a space for narratives that inspire and unite, a sonic refuge for those committed to liberation for our global fight for freedom and justice.

through sound and written and spoken words we wanted to express the condition that each of us face, after every time we open our eyes in the morning , trying to chase that light that was enough to see once, to be sure to employ all the energy of a lifetime to reach it. the light of true reality, the net that connects everything and everyone, together, in the toroidal energy field of the earth where we live, as one.
