Assemblage 23 - Human (2007)

This is "Simon Fawlter", the musical alter ego of Neuroticfish﻿s Sascha Mario Klein. It has been my pseudonym as a producer and remixer for quite a long time and it channels all the ideas and songs, that won't belong to my Neuroticfish identity.  Simon Fawlter does not care for ideological genre boundaries. Simon Fawlter is all about the development, the process and the artistic search for a new voice.

[:SITD:] es un grupo alemán creado en 1996 por Jacek Carsen y Thorsten Lau, cuyas composiciones están orientadas entre el EBM y el Industrial. Su nombre, SITD, son las iniciales o abreviación de Shadows In The Dark.

En los primeros tres años de existencia editaron con sus propios medios dos demos: Mourning Country en el año 1996 y Atomic en el año 1999. Durante el último año mencionado, Lau abandona el grupo y fue sustituido por Thomas Lesczenski.

En el 2001, Andre Sorge es añadido como nuevo miembro del grupo. Conjuntamente con VNV Nation y XPQ-21 actúan en Futureperfect Tour. Sin embargo Sorge unos meses después abandona el grupo.

En el 2002, [:SITD:] edita su primer EP, titulado Snuff, a través de Accession Records, el sello creado por Adrian Hates de Diary Of Dreams.

En el 2003, el grupo amplía su formación con otro músico, Francesco D’Angelo, con quien graban los álbumes Laughingstock y Stronghold. Stronghold llegó hasta la segunda posición en la categoría de top nacional en el Deutsche Alternative Chart (DAC) de ese mismo año.

En el 2004 actúan en el festival Zillo (con Skinny Puppy) y en Elektronisches Hilfswerk Charity Tour junto a VNV Nation, Combichrist y Namnambulu.

En el 2005 lanzan Coded Message: 12 así como los el single Richtfest y el EP Odyssey:13. La banda realizó una gira donde una vez más tocaron en festivales como Zillo o M’era Luna, haciendo también de banda soporte de nuevo para una gira de VNV Nation.

A finales de este año llegan a la tercera posición en el top nacional en el Deutsche Alternative Chart (DAC).
