A Few days after releasing a track on our [𝙰𝙱𝚃-𝚅𝙰⁰⁰⁵], those talented DJ and producer offers us a powerful club set, between Deep, Mental and Driving.

Audio Units craft a detailed, modern interpretation of techno while paying homage to its roots. The brother duo draw their inspiration from a myriad of subjects including art, science fiction, and technology. 

Their production style combines pulsating up-tempo trips across landscapes that can be sophisticated and subtle or rhythmic and riveting. Omnipresent groove and power on their records manoeuvre and meld in the same streamlined motion they harness as DJs. 
Their works have appeared on enduring digital and vinyl imprints such as Molecular, Newrhythmic, Dynamic Reflection, and Illegal Alien.

A desire for showcasing overseas artists and a push for immediate momentum of Indian talent inspired the inception of "Observant" in 2019 with dotdat. An unembellished record label that serves as a conduit to unite both worlds. They continue to contribute to this burgeoning ecosystem through their educational venture at “Beatworx” teaching music production, sound design and DJ lessons as well as organising bespoke techno events at “Afterworx” since 2010.

Bio:
His taste didn't evolve, he didn't start with Depeche Mode or Tangerine Dream, he started with Techno from Ruskin, Surgeon, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood. The year 2002 and an event with James Ruskin at the Energy Institute influenced his life quite a bit. Immediately after that event he sold a kidney and bought his first turntables. Techno has been with him ever since and is the most important aspect of his life. He draws inspiration mainly from the Detroit scene. His sets are a mix of classical, danceable and rhythmic techno. This mix is full of scifi Techno straight from Dj's like: Mike Storm, Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, Dj Surgeles, Pyramidal Decode, Developer.

Happy to present DSS 108, brought to us by Vladimir Vinco, better known as Vladw. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Agentina, Vladw is one of the prominent figure in the local scene.
His multifaceted approach to techno has seen him alos explore ambient and experimental sounds. This has granted him the oportunity to release music on different prominent labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Planet Rhythm and his own Thama Series.

"My sound is not about note, it's about envelope." So says Belgian techno innovator Carmelo Ponente in this second episode of DYSTOPIA, where our focus shifts squarely to the relationship between techno and the cosmos. The rigorous synergy between the two can be explained on the basis of their shared abstraction: the universe is the abstract space par excellence, a sphere of unlimited, yet unformed, potential, and techno is the musical equivalent, a sonic form stripped of organisational components and operating as a raw energetic structure. The episode focuses on the music of Carmelo Ponente as a great example of cosmic techno and he shares his insights about his musical philosophy, the ongoing evolution of his sound, as well as his upcoming projects.

Medha is a Leipzig based Dj and promoter as a member of the PVC collective. Since the end of 2021 she is the co-host of the well-known event series aequalis at Ifz. Her passion for technoid music is shaped by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig culture and club scene, she navigates through an array of techno genres, transitioning from hypnotic and mellow rhythms to atmospheric or groovy. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds. Over the last years, she has played in clubs such as Ifz Leipzig, Tresor Berlin, ://about blank, Kalif Storch or Siroco club Madrid.

Having cut his teeth in the tougher fringes of the electronic gameʼs spectrum under a flurry of aliases in the past, Miro Pajic went on to write new material in the guise of MSDMNR in more recent years, releasing a handful of satisfyingly sturdy but hyper dynamic releases via his eponymous imprint, eventually taking his inimitable jagged and reverb-soaked signature to 30D Records in 2020 with the streamlined ʻEmergencyʼ EP followed by releases on HAYES, MindTrip, Jonas Kopp's TREMSIX, Kaiser's KSR and Illegal Alien Records. Miroʼs music dwells the grey zone between ruff and bleepy rave material and further deep-diving excursions. If heʼs taken his place amongst the most dextrous groove manipulators out there, no doubt the reason lies in his inimitable flair for crafting pieces and moments as effortlessly immersive as they remain proof against time-erodible trends and ephemeral tendencies.
