I've always been a big robot enthusiast since I was a kid and this fascination persists to this day (I still play with my old robot dog Aibo from time to time). But now that autonomous military robots have started to become a reality, it's impossible not to be worried -- a dread that affects even someone like me, who has always dreamed of seeing artificial beings come out of science fiction books and into the real world. “War Dog” is about this grim reality that is rapidly developing in the form of robot dogs built to be soldiers of war.

Suzi Sonic's fantastic vocals are back and give the song the dark tone it needs. Her EP “Machine Love” is a masterpiece and I recommend everyone to check out her incredible music:

This original track has a slightly different mood than my interpretation. The voice only accompanied by piano leads to a delicate, fragile impression. I thought I wanted to make the vocals a tiny bit more rebellious.
