Here are some bits from my Creepy Teepee Festival 2k19 set, I played from 4-6AM indoors on Saturday night. The picture is after I finished, as you can see I am extremely sweaty and my makeup looks demonic and the sun is pouring thru the windows. The set's setting: darkness, red strobes, hot sweat - I wanted to be surrounded by your energies so y'all rushed the stage and they had to shut the music to get y'all off so you didn't BREAK that mf - then people straight up moshed on the slippery ass club floor and I saw nudity and making out and it was all fucking beautiful, people dancing together with me and with themselves, so much love emanating from the audience.  The whole weekend changed my life and created an awesome and rare-to-find sense of togetherness and community, thinking about it now I want to cry. Thank you so much to everyone involved w Creepy Teepee ♥︎
Also naturally I was getting kinda turnt onstage so, nevermind the clangs lol.

"Our first release is an eight-track compilation on a special USB stick with an accompanying zine. We wanted to foster a spirit of collaboration with an unusual compilation-building structure. Artists gradually added to the compilation as it grew: each artist received the existing tracks and was asked to contribute or remix a track from the compilation. This took time, but resulted in a cohesive and beautiful compilation, rich in emotion, ranging from a vintage club rant from tati au miel; disoriented housy jams from Bergsonist, Beta Librae, and Violet; tense experimental compositions from Englesia and Odete; a 139 BPM banger from softcoresoft; to a dancefloor-melting System of a Down edit from Estoc & Bored Lord."

Born from the minds and ethos of the Rave Ethics zine, Future Ethics is a women-run music label. We focus on creating community and beauty in dance music by giving platforms to visionaries prepared to fight for a future that is both sonically and ethically progressive. The future we envision is militantly feminist, queer, anti-racist, and anti-cap- italist. We honor our dance music forebears, those who grew the genre out of oppressed communities as a form of resistance, and we highlight their fight as the true spirit of this music.

We believe future ethics are embodied in the experimental, the cerebral, the intentional, the radical: sounds and words that break with convention and at times simply break. We hope to bring together and give platforms to artists of different mediums who share our goals and love of electronic music to create and practice Future Ethics in their own terms.
