- Where is your hometown located?
My hometown is a familiar landscape called My Duc. Since it is 50 kilometers far from the center of Hanoi, it takes me roughly 2 hour to travel by bus from there to Hanoi.
- Could you tell me something about your hometown?
Well, despite the rapid modernization, my hometown still remains unspoilt.There is no high-rised building, you know, no hustle-and-bustle supermarket, insteads, traditional-designed houses and quaint shops are quite popular. Also, people in my land are so friendly that they never hesitate to give you a hand if you need help.
- What is the main crop in your hometown?
My villagers cultivate mostly rice because, you know, rice is the main food in Vietnam. However , the winter here is freezing cold so famers grow some other plants such as beans and maize which can strongly endure  extreme weather.
- What is the main tourist attraction in your hometown?
Well, i have to say that Huong pagoda is such a must-see place for visitors. If you visit Huong Pagoda, you will catch the sight of specular moutain ranges, ancient temples, all of which will definitely enchant you. That is the reason why every year, it attracts multi-million of people who come from many regions of the world.

— A historical television series on the life of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the founder of Viet Nam Zen  Buddhism, will be filmed early next month by the private entertainment group, Viet Nam Tinh Hoa (Viet Ess).
The 45-part series, Phat Hoang Tran Nhan Tong (King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong), is written by a group of 11 scriptwriters and authors knowledgeable about Vietnamese history and Buddhism. The screenplay was based on nine novels by writers Hoang Quoc Hai, Ha An and Tran Dai Si.The film's director, Meritorious Artist Van Luong, and his staff spent more than three years preparing for filming. "My staff and I have worked with dozens of experts in language,   costume design, and props to improve our knowledge and understand how all of these fields in the film are important historically, technically, and socially," said Luong.
The series is about the life and  attainment of  Nirvana of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong , the third king of the Tran dynasty, who /əˈsend ascended the throne when he was just 21.The King was famed for defeating Mongol invaders. He   abdicated the throne when he was 35 and spent the rest of his life on Yen Tu Mountain, located in Quang Ninh Province, practising and  propagating Buddhism.He founded the Truc Lam School of Zen and worked to unify different Vietnamese Buddhism sects into Vietnamese Zen Buddhism.
The Central Committee of the Viet Nam  Buddhist Sangha has long observed the day the King attained Nirvana (the first day of the 11th lunar month) as the national anniversary of Vietnamese Buddhism.
"Through the film, we wanted to spotlight King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong's remarkable spirit and work," said Luong, adding that the film is his greatest project.Luong's film attracted more than 100 actors and stuntmen, who have been trained by film and theatre experts, such as People's Artists Nguyen Dinh Quang, Man Thu, Nhu Quynh and Le Chuc.
The producer Viet Ess has also constructed a 15-hectare studio in Uong Bi City in Quang Ninh Province for filming.
Post-production work on the film Phat Hoang Tran Nhan Tong will be completed in Ha Noi later this year.

Once again, the theme for the words in today’s episode is technology, and ways to describe different types of technology and technological advances. Device So let’s get started. The first word on our list is device. So let’s start with that one, okay? What does the word “device” mean? Well, a device is any technological machine. I know this sounds pretty general, so let’s get a more specific look. When we use the word “device”, we are typically speaking about an electronic item that allows people to get on the Internet, make phone calls, or possibly send messages. So usually when we say “device” we are talking about someone’s phone, or computer, or tablet. However, there are more kinds of devices than just the ones you use to connect to the Internet or call your mom. Technically, any mechanical or electronic tool is a device. For example, while your laptop is a device, something as simple as a measuring stick is also a device. A device is any piece of technological equipment. Don’t worry too much about being able to identify every single device. Just remember that most of the time when someone uses the word device, they’re talking about a phone or a computer. For example, you may have seen advertisements for services that allow you to watch television shows on “all of your devices.” Obviously these ads are using the word “device” to refer to things like phones, computers, and televisions – not measuring sticks! So, that’s device. Mobile The next word is mobile. What does mobile mean? Well, the word mobile describes technology related to phones, or other wireless devices that connect to the Internet or send calls and text messages to people So you can see there is some overlap between “mobile” and “device.” To keep things from getting confusing, let’s be really clear about the differences between these two words. The word “device” is a noun, meaning that a device is a thing -- like a cellphone or computer. The word “mobile” is an adjective, meaning it describes something. In this case, we use the word mobile to describe anything that is a wireless device. So a television is a device. A television that can wirelessly connect to the internet is a mobile device. 1.	Describe what you think is a healthy diet.
Developing healthy eating habit isn’t as confusing or as restrictive as many people imagine. Personally, a healthy diet is the one which combines enough nutrients for one’s life. Therefore, consuming a rich variety of food is very important because eating a wide assortment of foods helps ensure that you get all of the nutrients, especially the disease-fighting potential hat foods offer.
2.	Are there many vegetarians in your country?
Yes, they are. The number of people following vegetarianism has been increasing recently. It is thought that old people or those following a religious, like Buddhism, will be vegetarians; however, youngsters also join to vegetarian community because of many reasons.
3.	Why do you think some people choose to be vegetarians?
People become vegetarians for many reasons, including health, religious convictions, concerns about animal welfare or the use of antibiotics and hormones in livestock, or a desire to eat in a way that avoids excessive use of environmental resources. Some people follow a largely vegetarian diet because they can’t afford to eat meat. Vegetarianism has become more appealing and accessible, thanks to the year-round availability of fresh produce, more vegetarian dining options, and the growing culinary influence of cultures with largely plant-based diets.
4.	Is the food that people eat today in your country different to the food that people used to eat in the past? (if yes, in what ways has it changed?)
Personally, eating style of most people has changed recently. Significantly, food hygiene is mentioned everyday in news. Therefore, people are very cautious when they choose ingredients in reliable market/supermarket and cook properly. Those fat-free or low-fat food and veggiesare more preferred in daily meal compared to in the past, choosing food were mostly based on interests.
5.	How do you think the way we eat will change in the future?
Yes, I do. I think people nowadays pay more attention to healthy food because the awareness of health has been raised among young and old people. Therefore, it will be a remarkable innovation in food consumption in the future.
6.	Is American-style ‘fast food’ popular in your country? (Why? Popular with whom?)
Due to the trend of globalization, fast food has become more and more popular such as KFC, Lotteria, Burger King or Domino. Why are those brands popular in our country? The first cause is needs of modern community which have intensive activities.  In a family, both husband and wife have a tendency to have a job. Consequently, they do not have enough time to cook and the frequency of eating out increases. Secondly, efforts of fast food restaurant companies to enhance the nutritional quality of their products and services are also the cause of their popularity.
7.	What do you think of this popularity- is it as good thing?
The popularity of fast food restaurants has certainly influenced some of the changes in the community. It brings benefits to this hectic life with its quick service and convenience place. Other than that, the increasing number of customers that come to restaurants became the reason for greater number of restaurant staff to be needed and the demand for restaurant personnel made it possible for more people to consider work in a restaurant as an attractive option. With this said, there are many more entry level job opportunities for people.
