For our very first podcast on Soundcloud we're very happy, that Engyn ( @engyn-1 ) took the time to come up with one hour of his signature techno sound. It could be, that there's is a track in the mix from his upcoming release on Empore... Who knows?!

Engyn started his own label Outcast Oddity in 2015 to promote friends that share the same vision about leftfield House, Techno and especially the undefined area in between those genres. Outcast Oddity became a source of secret weapons for many of the games biggest players. 
In 2017 Engyn released his first LP called „Leaving Glenwood“ that gave an intimate look into his vision of dark, melancholic machine music. It was nominated for the „Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik“. A prize picked by a jury containing germanys most respected journalists for electronic music. 2018 will see him release music on other labels than his own for the first time and eventually a second album focusing on Ambient. Beside his vinyl releases he has an on-going project that contains only tracks started and finished in one live session and only available via the Engyn Bandcamp. This conceptual album showcases the possibilities of Engyn’s improvised techno live sets, where he writes music on the fly using a complex sequencer and a drum machine.

Since getting major attention with the release of his debut long-player, ‘Leaving Glenwood’, Engyn kept himself particularly busy, multiplying main routes and side projects with laudable constancy.
