Sebastian Weikum Pres. Junostar - Chordplay (Original Mix) [Free Download]

Pineapple Digital, turned 2 years old last month and our Melodic Progressions radio show had it's commemorative 100th episode as well and now we celebrate another milestone with our special 
100th compilation which will be released as Parts 1 & 2 with a total of 24 tracks.

The first part includes 12 tracks from PD regulars, 06R, Alfoa, Areea, Blood Groove & Kikis with Ai Takekawa, Cullen, Dunkan, FFERD TOBING, and Lesh. We also introduce and welcome newcomers to the family, Dmitry Aeolus, Jay Hubbard, Kesuke Hara, and Tomohiko Togashi & Takahiro Eguchi.

Part 1 starts off with 06R doing a rework of his cult hit Orientification, which he calls '(Black Version)', which we would say it's very tasty with it's progressive techno vibes, infused with exotic Japanese melodies and vocal chops, next is Alfoa with his darker themed composition,'Liquor, Areea rounds of the first quarter with this scorching progressive trance track, 'Campanas'.

In this 2nd quarter, we go into deeper melodic bliss with the Latvian duo of Blood Groove and Kikis in collaboration with Japanese singer, composer and songwriter Ai Takekawa, and their masterpiece, 'She' which is sung in both Japanese and English, we break it up with Cullen's progressive breaks creation, 'Digital Emotions', and we drop this epic club oriented masterpiece from Dmitry Aeolus, 'Rush'.

Dunkan sets the mood in this 3rd quarter with his symphonic creation,'Ticket Back', next up is this uplifting and angelic like musical production, 'Never Be The Same' from  Indonesian electronic music producer FFERD TOBING, we pick the pace up with this is a pulsating harmonic piece, 'From Within', 
from UK producer, Jay Hubbard. 

The final quarter will stimulate your aural senses with Kesuke Hara's mellifluent jewel, 'Kinugasa', this tracks flows with lush beautiful chords and exotic Junanagen plucks, very 'Kawaii' like in nature which means lovable, cute or adorable in Japanese, then we bring you this classic progressive styled master work, 'Vicious Circles' from PD resident, Lesh, and finally the last track in this compilation, winds down with this 80's Italo Disco inspired melodious original,'Sheers', which is a collaborative effort from 2 rising Japanese electronic music producers, Tomohiko Togashi and Takahiro Eguchi.

He is a key flag bearer in the modern day progressive genre within dance music, as well as being regarded as one of Coldharbour's most outstanding talents. Continuing his multilayered We Are One journey; Solid Stone presents an expanded second chapter; spanning five tracks on this occasion.

The unstoppable Dear Deer Records rolls out another fresh slice of essential house music, this time with Malandra Jr behind two originals and James Gill and Alex Kaspersky remixing. 

This Italian artist is a lover of classical music culture, poetry and is formally trained on the piano. He played in various orchestras and ensembles and brings that real emotion, class and musicality to his grooves. 

First up here is Millennium, seven spine tingling minutes of deep house with sombre chords and loose percussion all making a fantastically mature and sophisticated atmosphere. Shamans is a percolating, darkened deep house track that has haunting chords dangling above the rubbery bass synth. Elegant lead lines then ring out during the breakdown and the whole thing oozes celestial charm. 

James Gill remixes Millennium into an even more smooth and serene melodic tech number that casts a spell on you and has drifting vocals and swaying drums all bringing real class. Last of all, Alex Kaspersky layers in stepping bass lines, loosens up the groove and is sure to get the club on its toes and moving to the next level with his uplifting moods. 

This is a fantastic EP of truly majestic deep house sounds.

The ‘Prospect EP’ is three-track collaboration between the acclaimed Nox Vahn (fka Fairchild), and British-born rising talent Marsh.

Opening with distant wildlife sounds, an unassuming intro gives way to colossal pitch-bending synths in ‘Prospect’. ‘Follow Me’ sees the pair collaborate with American singer-producer Mimi Page to deliver a dream-like arrangement, whilst ‘Serena’s Garden’ (as heard on Anjunadeep 10) concludes the EP with ghostly vocals atop a backdrop of field-recordings.

Grum’s ‘Deep State’ transmissions resume...
Conspiracy theories have been running wild around the disappearance of Graeme Shepherd a.k.a. Grum’s second (or is that third) artist L.P. ‘Deep State’. Announced late in 2018, the album vanished. While he cannot confirm nor deny some of the more colourful conjecture around the album’s withdrawal, Grum and Anjunabeats are pleased to announce that ‘Deep State’ is back, rewired and reinvigorated for 2019.

Reflecting the unsettling times we live in, ‘Deep State’ has moments of light and dark. It’s a showcase of Grum’s ability to craft pitch-black progressive and immersive vocal pop. The 10-track album is a refined take on the current state of progressive trance.

A throwback to the riff-heavy rave sounds of the 90s, the first broadcast from ‘Deep State’ is ‘Stay’. As heard on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats Volume 14 mix compilation, this saturnine warehouse cut was a popular set opener this summer. ‘Stay’ features a haunting vocal from British singer Nathalie Shay, who you can also hear on ‘Afterglow’.
